Pompano Beach, FL - The Jewish Center at Temple Sholom, a Progressive, Conservative synagogue presents the fifth consecutive monthly  "Exceptional Angels' Shabbat Service,"  a compilation of song, stories and prayer  for adults and children with special needs on Saturday, April 24 beginning at 10:45am.   The service will be lead by the Temple’s spiritual leader,  Rabbi David Mark.

Rabbi Mark, the proud father of a special needs child, knows firsthand the need for a service of this type in the community. "These people need to feel a sense of belonging and well as a spiritual connection to God. While I will be leading the service, I am hoping for their enthusiastic participation.  We want them to feel comfortable and welcome at Temple Sholom."

Each month the attendance grows and the enthusiasm blossoms.

The Exceptional Angels Shabbat Service will be occurring parallel to the regular Shabbat service at the Jewish Center at Temple Sholom.   Both services will conclude at 11:45am, after which attendees will unite for a Kiddush of coffee, tea, cake, cookies and juice.
